Packaging

Good enough to eat, flavour by flavour.

The Challenge

Delicious had found early success with cookie dough desserts stocked in retailers like Sainsbury's, best known for their cookie dough balls. They wanted to vary their range with large, shareable cookie dough skillets for dinner parties, and needed packaging that extended their brand across new products while keeping consistency in texture, detail and mouth-watering appeal.

The Approach

We took their brand essence and guidelines and produced packaging that could roll out across multiple flavours, with a sharp eye on consistency, texture and moisture, making the product look good enough to eat straight off the pack. We provided 3D renders and print-ready files so they could pitch the range to supermarket chains and other retailers with confidence.

The Outcome

The packaging helped Delicious take a new product to market and spread their brand further across retail. We have since designed another product for them, a long, thin format, showing how versatile our packaging design is, building fresh products from an existing brand system while staying true to the look and feel customers already recognise.
