The Challenge
The International Institute of Safety Culture runs regular events in France with keynote speakers and in-depth topics. Working alongside a PR partner who wrote the white papers, we were asked to design documents so professional they could be sold at the events themselves. The challenge was making dense health and safety content credible, digestible and genuinely enjoyable to read.
The Approach
We didn't design the ILSC brand, but pulled it together into a sophisticated, on-brand marketing product. We edited stock imagery, designed all the typography ourselves and built clean editorial layouts with generous white space, so heavy, copy-led content had room to breathe. That breathing room let the information and the statistics sing, and kept the reader engaged throughout.
The Outcome
ILSC has become a retention client. Each year, working with our PR partner, we now produce a series of brochures on health and safety themes tied to their keynote speakers, plus promotional activity for their events. It shows how a one-off editorial design project can grow into a long-term relationship built on credible, beautifully laid out white papers and reports.
