Branding

Protein, reimagined in deep purple and gold.

The Challenge

Protea approached us to brand the first protein-infused iced peach tea of its kind in the UK. The brief was to move protein beyond the gym, positioning it around wellbeing, mindfulness and mental performance. Founder Nika wanted a dark, moody product that felt at home morning or evening, an infusion woven into everyday routines rather than just another fitness drink.

The Approach

We developed a deep purple to dark-toned gradient with a bold flash of gold running through it, making the product feel aspirational and expensive. That story carried across the labelling and packaging design, with real thought given to the unboxing experience as a way to leverage the brand. Every detail reinforced a premium, moody feel that set Protea apart on shelf.

The Outcome

Nika was moved to tears of joy at the brand presentation, and the identity has set Protea up for future growth. The brand is now in activation ahead of launch, with clear guidance on social and packaging. We remain on hand to support whatever comes next, from further assets to her Shopify website, as this new drinks brand comes to market.
