The Challenge
Mit's old website had two problems. She could not edit it without going back to a developer every time, and it did not reflect the brand or the character of the school. She also had a practical need no off-the-shelf build would cover: Ofsted download policy documents ahead of an inspection, and she wanted to know when that happened.
The Approach
We built the site around the new brand, carrying the colour, illustration and warmth into a digital space with enough movement to keep pages feeling alive. On the back end we set up a notification that alerts Mit whenever a policy document is downloaded, giving her an early steer on an inspection. Just as importantly, we made the site almost entirely editable by her, so news, updates and changes no longer need a developer in the loop.
The Solution
Feedback has been strong from staff and from parents. Information is easy to find, the site genuinely looks and sounds like the school it represents, and Mit has full control over it. The policy alert has proved its worth as a quiet piece of early warning.
